Hi there everyone and welcome back for the last half term.  Here's hoping that some of the great weather we had over the last week will continue.  This half term runs for 7 weeks with the last session being 21st July when we break for the long summer holidays. We'll return 8th September.

 

Forthcoming Activities:

 

          9th June:    England flags

          16th June:   Fathers Day crafts

          23rd June:  Pirate hats and eye masks.  This is for the children to                                    wear for their Big Toddle!

          30th June: Big Toddle!

          7th July:     Material collages

          14th July:   Summer outing.

          21st July:    Playdoh.

 

The Barnardo's Big Toddle is the UK's biggest charity event for children under 5 and our group will be taking part on 30th June.  It's a sponsored event and money raised is used by Barnardo's to support early years groups within the UK.  To support this our toddle will be  a leisurely stroll around the back field.  Prams and pushchairs are permitted for

those who aren't on their feet just yet!  After plenty of fresh air and exercise everyone is welcome to rest their feet and enjoy a few nibbles and drinks.  Please take a sponsorship form from the desk.  The theme this year is pirates so you're welcome to come in fancy dress.  The walk will start at 10am.  Be sure to bring welly boots if it's wet!

 

Summer Outing 14th July

We'll be holding our annual outing at Planet Zoom in Kings Lynn.  If you would like to come along please add your details to the form at the desk.  Our group is booked from 10 to 11.30am for play and afterwards  the children will have lunch.  There's just a small charge but it's no more than our regular session cost; £1.50 including lunch and 50p for those children not requiring lunch.

 

Committee

Our current Chairperson Julie has left the group so Mandy has taken over this role, which means that we are now in need of a secretary. 

The group also require further committee members to help set up and tidy away each week and generally help with ideas for crafts etc...  If you would like to be involved at all please speak to a member of the committee.
