Blondel

Watlington Players' next production will be the musical "Blondel", by Tim Rice and Stephen Oliver.

With hilarious lyrics and toe-tapping music, this show is an irreverent version of the legend of Blondel the lute-player, and his quest to find and rescue Richard the Lionheart.

 Our brave hero, and his equally courageous but rather more intelligent girlfriend, defy the bad Prince John and sing their way through Europe to bring their crusading king back to England. More information at
